Obama is change, change, change, Mr. Move-Past-Bush-And-Embrace-the-Future. McCain, much less comfortable as the nominee or front-runner than he is as the insurgent, is confused.

What can we expect to see from this controversial shift in the evangelical voting bloc? Heaven forbid religious influence on elections diminishes and people start taking that “separation of church and state” thing seriously.

Two things of note happened last week. The first was that my mother bought some outdoor cushions for our lawn furniture. The second was that AC/DC made a deal regarding the distribution of its next album. Seemingly unrelated events, but they both involve Wal-Mart.

The recent headlines out of Gloucester, Mass. indicate 17 teenage girls agreed to get pregnant together. But this “pact” isn’t any more newsworthy than the pact I remember making as a kid at Girl Scout camp to not go to the outhouse at night alone.
