florida, thanks but no thanks…

Those Republicans whom were registered to vote in the closed Florida primary should be proud. Go ahead and give yourselves a round of applause because the DNC (Democratic National Committee) and the far left Moveon.org “liberal lemmings” are praising your efforts as well. Why, do you ask, would they celebrate John McCain’s and Mitt Romney’s victories in the Sunshine State? Well, it is because they have finally eliminated their only true Republican competition for the presidency. They have removed the Giuliani Factor.

In all fairness, Mayor Giuliani chose the wrong strategy in his attempt to obtain the presidential nomination. Campaign finances and spending are two major factors in any election and without a supply of never-ending monetary funds, candidates like Mayor Giuliani are forced to take drastic measures. His course of action allowed McCain and Romney to take New Hampshire, Michigan and South Carolina without any challenge; it boosted their national presence and political momentum. Florida, Giuliani’s “white whale,” eluded his capture and all but shattered his hopes of gaining support before Super Tuesday.

Think back a while, before the gates officially opened signaling the start of the primary races. As political scientists and polling experts were analyzing the possible candidates, many held the belief that Rudy Giuliani was the only Republican hopeful that possessed the ability to dismantle the Clinton Machine and, if need be, break the rising Obama wave. Now, all we are left with is a failed governor and a senator who may have to utilize those handicap access ramps that were installed in the White House for FDR.

Liberals are ecstatic because they are one step closer to consuming the government. They first took over control of Capital Hill and in a few short months they will be changing their address to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. If you think this is just my own personal rhetoric, then take the time and review the emails sent out to MoveOn.org subscribers in recent days and the articles published on their fanatical website.

These communications cited Rudy Giuliani several times and related the notion to subscribers that if the mayor was to take the primary in Florida or finish in a strong second place, then all attempts to discredit his campaign should be made. To my knowledge, I have yet to read or be even told about any such plans to derail McCain or Romney.

Why? Because these liberal political bosses are in no way rattled by the other Republican hopefuls. In fact, they are joyfully awaiting the presidential race to initiate, believing wholeheartedly that any Conservative candidate, other than Giuliani, will lead to a DNC controlled White House. Due to the increasing political divide in the United States, those candidates whom do not stray from partisan ideologies often gain the support of registered members but will more than likely lose key votes from independents and opposing party affiliates.

Mayor Giuliani’s moderate views on domestic issues and more conservative ideals regarding foreign policy and national security seemed to form the ideal presidential combination the American public was looking for in 2008. Unfortunately, we have been left with one candidate that pronounces his extreme willingness to bend his parties agenda in order to avoid partisan conflicts and another who states that he is a firm conservative, but changes his mind so many times that we are unsure which version of the candidate we will hear week from week.

With all that being said, we can all be assured that Democrats and MoveOn.org fanatics are congratulating themselves and are preparing to unveil their socialist agendas once they have taken the White House in November. Freedom was good while it lasted.

Hopefully, in 2012, Giuliani or a candidate like him will become the next President of the United States. Maybe by then we will be ready to learn from our mistake.
